Okay, story about the surfboard to come…

Alright…So for all the guys out there that are going to be in their friends wedding in the future. Listen up. Kris’ guys made him a surfboard. Yup, a friggin’ surfboard! With the wedding date on the front, and they all signed the bottom of the board.

The bar has been raised!

Here’s our photobooth, that’s not a photobooth, it’s  NOT-A-BOOTH!….What?… I know, I know! We thought long and hard on that name…really, we did.

Anyway, we really feel like this is a great option for you’re event. You know, get all the Uncle Bob’s and Cousin Joe’s to act crazy and have a great time in front of the camera. They can also walk away from the party with some pretty cool instant prints. I just love these shots with the city skyline in the background.  It was a little hazy that morning, but I think it adds to the beauty and mystic.

Todd, you did an awesome job with those jumps!!  I love the karate chop – hi-ya!!

Nicole and Jow meet while they were going to school at Rutger’s, so no better place to have an engagement session! They also told us a little bit about the area including all the Man Vs. Food hotspots. And we love our food. In fact, I’ve watched Man Vs. Food a lot, thinking, “what a killer job. Travel around the country and stuff your face with food. Sounds good to me!”

After the session Nicole and Joe took us out and we ate (and drank) like kings!

Okay, Nicole’s family has a “thing,” where their sign of affection is to pet underneath your chin. Lauren and I forget what they call it! (Nicole, let’s us know and we’ll plug it in.) As much as Joe might not like it, Lauren and I think it’s a GREAT way to show love for someone! I think we might adopt it!

Meghan and Mike picked the beautiful Valley Forge National Park for their engagement session, and it couldn’t have been a better choice!!  These guys were so easy to shoot, the day was perfect and the afternoon light was even more perfect.  These are our favorites from the day!

LOL, the best! The only “I look like so-and-so famous” I got, is Danny Bonaduce. NOT a compliment! Anyway, I’m no Bon Jovi look alike, but we do have some super cool photos…

I have been in some awkward positions shooting. High places (kerri+damians silo), in the middle of the road with traffic, high ledges,  you name it. But standing up straight in a moving ferris wheel, was a little unnerving!

She won the pink pig! For real!

Cotton Candy tastes SO good for the first 2 minutes….Then you get a little sticky…. Then you get a stomach ache!

Ahhh, the Taj!

What you don’t see here, is me and Lauren yelling, trying to get Elizabeth and Brandon to throw bread over their shoulders for the seagulls to collect… C’mon, it was fun!

These guys were amazing all day…With us saying “go in for a kiss” every 30 seconds. And right on cue, kiss.

Don’t let me forget naturals too! We gave a little direction, and they took it beyond!

I’ve said this once or twice before….but I’ll say it again. WE HAVE THE BEST CLIENTS IN THE WORLD! After finishing up the session we sat back, relaxed, ate some dinner, had a cold beverage, and shared stories. Elizabeth and Brandon, we are SOO stoked for your wedding in the fall. And we’re serious…. whenever you guys take a day off and ride the Harley up to  New Hope give a ring-a-ding!

Amy’s dress was so beautiful.  It was both elegant and romantic and it looked so comfortable as well!

Beautiful flowers too!  I just love that burgundy colored calla lily-I didn’t know they were out there!

So handsome!

We took their portraits in Rittenhouse Square and really lucked out with not too many people getting in the way.

I LOVE this one.  It is so natural, and real-you just look so beautiful Amy!  My favorite of the day.

There were so many awesome details at Chifa.  Matty and I were like two kids in a candy store!  The decor was eclectic and dramatic-so much fun!

mmmm…. the food……so wonderful….

We thought it would be fun to share a few of our wedding pictures taken by our friends who Matty went to photography school with, Moriah Robling Margerum and Camille Dixon.  They did such a wonderful job, we couldn’t have asked for more.  The best part is that Moriah in turn asked us to shoot her wedding!  Her wedding was the one that made our career choice what it is today!

So just a little trip down memory lane…

Ok, you must check out Kerri’s cup … isn’t that awesome!!

Sooooo beautiful!!!

I loved your dress Kerri.  It was perfect for the hot day and it just looked so comfortable!

The ceremony was beautiful and fun!  I never thought of a wedding ceremony as being fun but this one was great.  Kerri’s dad officiated and they joked around and just really enjoyed the moment.

This thing was super handy for getting around the farm and ended up being the focus of these great shots!  Definitely one of my favorites of the day.

Ok, so just take a mental note of these silos….

We took portraits on their dirt bike course in the back of the farm (yes, Kerri and Damian ride dirt bikes in their free time, among other awesome extreme activities as well).  This is one of Matty’s favorite shots of the day.

I think instead of explaining these, I’ll just let your imagination wander…

They had a slideshow going of the happy couple back in the day.  We just couldn’t resist getting this shot … hee hee hee. 

This is one of my favorites too.  It just shows how great these guys are!  Relaxed, funny and just ready to enjoy the moment, I love it!

Karaoke and guest participation (complete with signs) summed up the reception.

Ok, so you all remember I made you take a mental note of the silos a little bit back?  Well this is the shot Matty got after climbing to the top of the silo!  They look like tiny little people on a model train set or something, love it!!!  And thank you Matty for not falling…
